Note that nearly all the photos I've taken (so far anyway) are of dead spiders, and their colour often becomes lighter (less black) after they have been dead for a while.
Nearly all the photos so far were taken in Sydney at the Australian Museum Spiders Exhibition, using a Nikon D700 camera with a Tamron SP 90mm F/2.8 Di MACRO 1:1 VC USD lens.
